About Me

I am Melton Carr, a native born Texan and proud of my heritage. I live in the country, am college educated, middle-class, a US Air Force veteran, and now 86 years old. I was twice divorced and now happily married to my third wife Sally of 32 years.

My passions include creative writing and graphic design. I retired as; owner/creative director of my own Florida advertising agency. After retiring, I bought a 32’ sailboat and lived aboard for five years, sailing from Annapolis, Maryland to the Florida Keys, and the Caribbean. I have published fiction and satire and continue to write.

My faith as a born-again Christian is very important to me. These days, I enjoy kayaking, flying my drones, and setting my life courses, and adventures.

What I want to offer my readers is my perspectives, hard-won values, and my encouragement — to help people recognize their own self-worth and have the courage to step out and pursue their own adventures and opportunities.
